This handmade bowl is uniquely crafted without a lathe or computer aided tools, like a CNC.

The hardwoods used in this bowl are: Figured Curly Maple and Cherry. It is made with zero dyes or stains. There are no filters applied to the images. Note that the bottom of the bowl has a few divots in the Curly Maple. The only factor is the bottom isn’t perfectly smooth.

The approximate measurements are 11” in outside diameter, with a 2 1/2” bowl height and interior depth of 1 7/8”

The bowl has a food safe finish that will ensure lasting protection; however, occasional maintenance with cutting board or butcher block conditioners (oils, wax, etc.) are recommended. Our own blend of food-safe oil and wax (wood butter) will be included with purchase of the bowl.

General care directions will be included with the bowl. Most importantly, the bowl should be hand washed only, with soap and water and towel dried. Do not soak bowl and avoid extreme temperatures. Reapply wood conditioner/wax as needed.

Note: the natural color of wood darkens over time. Exotic woods like Purpleheart or Padauk will eventually become a warm brown.
