This hardwood cutting board is handmade, with zero dyes or stains. The images have no filters applied.

It is made from a rare and very dense hardwood, Santos Mahogany. It is a rare single slab that showcases the warm red color of the heartwood, as well as the lighter sapwood. This wood has twice the hardness of Oak and is well suited as a butcher block.

It includes a juice groove, perfect for cutting meat and preventing spills from meat juices.

The pictures will note some cracks on the slab. All of the cracks have been filled with epoxy resin to ensure no further splitting.

Approximate Measurements: 10 1/2” x 13 1/8” x 2” It weighs about EIGHT POUNDS!

It has a food safe finish that will ensure lasting protection; however, occasional maintenance with cutting board or butcher block conditioners (oils, wax, etc.) are recommended. Our own blend of food-safe oil and wax (board butter) will be included with purchase of the board. Directions for care and washing will also be included.
