This rustic cedar mountain art measures approximately 11 1/2” x 21.” It is approximately 1 1/2” thick (framed border).

The piece is dye and stain free. The blackened mountains owe their color to the Shou Sugi Ban (torching) process. The body of the piece received Boiled Linseed Oil to reveal that natural color and provide contrast.

The outline of the mountains is comprised of reclaimed cedar, white and grey from the natural weathering/aging process. It is attached to the board with 23-gauge pin nails.

The framed border is raw cedar and attached to the body with 18-gauge brad nails.

The piece can sit flat on a shelf or could have hardware attached for mounting.
